RS JUNIOR (2017): Appeared in 36 games with 18 starts, mostly at 3B... Went 1-for-3 with a solo home run vs Portland (3/17)... Went 1-for-3 with a solo home run at home against New Mexico (4/5)... At UC Riverside, he had a big day going 3-for-5 with an RBI (4/11)... Batted .239 on the year... Made two appearances on the mound, pitching 2.1 scoreless innings. RS SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in 14 games, with nine appearances on the mound, and four starts in the field.... he hit .158 with three hits, and on RBI in 19 plate appearances... on he mound, he posted a 0-0 record with 8.64 ERA in 8.1 innings of work... he went 2-for-5 with two runs scored against Pacific (5/14/16)... tossed 1.0 innings against Columbia, and did not allow any runs on one hit (3/15/16). RS FRESHMAN (2015): Played in 34 games with 23 starts as an infielder for the Toreros... helped lead USD to the 2015 WCC regular-season championship... hit .255 with 24 hits, four doubles, two triples and two home runs... recorded 38 RBI and scored 10 runs in 94 at bats... went 2-for-4 with one triple against Morehead State (2/14/15)... went 2-for-4 with one RBI against Dallas Baptist (2/21/15)... went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one home run against UC Riverside (4/8/15)... went 2-for-3 with one RBI against Pacific (4/12/15)...went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI against San Francisco (4/19/15). FRESHMAN (2014): Redshirted at USD. HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at nearby Rancho Buena Vista High School... as a senior he hit .262 with three doubles, two home runs, 13 RBI while only playing half of the season due to injury... three-time first-team All-Academic...a s a junior, he hit .347 with nine doubles, three home runs, and had 23 RBI en route to a first-team All-Avocado League selection, and was the Offensive Player of the Year... as a sophomore, he hit .200 with four doubles and 12 RBI. PERSONAL: Aidan Joseph Stinnett was born on Dec. 9, 1994 in Oceanside, Calif....he is the son of Mark and Kristina Stinnett... he was also recruited by UC Davis, Cal Poly, Santa Clara and UC Riverside... chose to attend USD because of the academic reputation of the university, the location and the baseball program... noted that he graduated high school with a 4.6 GPA, and loves to play football, basketball, soccer and ping pong... he also enjoys water activities such as going to the beach, tubing, jet skiing and kayaking.
