As head coach, Keegan led his college summer team to League 1st place championship (2012) in the Puget Sound Collegiate League in Lacy, WA.
Keegan's collegiate baseball career included playing as the starting 3rd baseman for the 2009 Championship win in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) for Bellevue College, Redmond, WA where he was honored with the Golden Glove award. From Bellevue, Keegan transferred to Centenary College (D1) in Shreveport, LA, where he hit .341 for the Gents with 37 walks, 45 runs scored and 17 stolen bases; and .468 on-base percentage where he ranked 144th best among all NCAA Division I in both categories. Keegan transferred to Gonzaga University in Washington State for his senior year where he started as second baseman for the Bulldogs on WCC West Coast Conference runner-up team. The Bulldogs 2011 team ranked No. 24 in Baseball America's Top 25 and included teammates Tyler Olson (Seattle Mariners), Marco Gonzales (St. Louis Cardinals) and Cody Martin (Atlanta Braves). Acker led the conference in base on balls.
Besides his love of the game, Keegan is learning to surf, loves his family including his parents from Redmond, WA and his brother Mac, LFP who played for Quebec Capitales (summer 2015) and won the Australian Championship World Series with the Perth Heat in (winter-spring 2015).
