Logan Goulding

Logan Goulding joined the USD men’s golf program in the summer of 2017 as head coach Chris Riley’s first assistant. He enters his fifth year with San Diego in 2021-22.

In his role with the Toreros, he oversees the recruiting efforts and helps Riley with all daily facets of the golf program.

Goulding arrived at USD after one year as the head coach at Hawaii Pacific University where he was the leader of both the men's and women's golf programs during the 2016-17 season.

Prior to Hawaii Pacific, Goulding worked as a professional caddy. He worked with LPGA TOUR player Karen Chung and PGA tour Canada player Byron Meth. Prior to that, Goulding was a volunteer assistant coach at the University of the Pacific, in charge of player development and course management.

Goulding played college golf at the University of Hawaii-Hilo from 2006 to 2010 and was named to the PacWest All-Conference team three times.

After graduating with a degree in communications, Goulding returned home to California to pursue professional golf from 2010 to 2012. He was the NCPGA Apprentice Match Play Champion, the NCGA Valley Amateur Champion, and the Antioch City Championship Champion.

Goulding and his wife Carley were married in August 2017.
