Personal: Sam Schelonka was born on November 4, 1995 in San Antonio, Texas but lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon ... he is the son of Bob and Sandy Schelonka... lived in Japan for three years... is majoring in Biology... chose USD because it was the right fit academically, socially, and the rowing is year-round... was also recruited by Columbia University and Oregon State University.
