Junior (2014-15): Competed in six of USD's seven races in the fall... Had the top Torero time in the Mark Covert Classic (19:51)... Ran a personal best time twice; first in the Bronco Invite (21:39.9) and then in the WCC Championships (21:27)... Was named to the WCC All-Academic Team... Also raced in the UC Riverside Invite (21:53.9), the Paul Short Invite (21:44), and the NCAA West Regionals (22:41)... Competed in all seven of USD's spring races and set two personal bests... Finished the 1500m in 4:59.02 at the Steve Scott Invite... Finished the year with a PR in the 5k (18:01.67). Sophomore (2013-14): Competed in five races during the fall... Set a personal record in the 6k at the Bronco Invite with a time of 21:39... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.87 GPA). Freshman (2012-13): Ran her best 5k time of the fall at the Bronco Invite (18:49)... Clocked a 22:35 (48th place) at the WCC Championships... Ran a 22:14 (141st place) at the NCAA Regional Championships... Also competed in the Fullerton Invitational, UC Riverside Invitational and Stanford Invite... During the spring track season, established a personal best in the 5k at the Occidental Invite (18:05.88)... Raced primarily in the 3k and 5k throughout the spring... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.87 GPA. High School: Attended Thousand Oaks High School where she earned four varsity letters in cross country... Was team captain and a scholar athlete as a senior... Named Outstanding Athlete her senior season... Ran a 11:12 2-mile and a 17:55 3-mile her senior year... Her team took seventh at the State Championships... Also lettered four times in track. Personal: Born June 18, 1994 in San Diego, Calif.... Daughter of Jen and Mike Padberg... Is a recipient of the Torero Pride Scholarship... Chose USD because of the overall campus atmosphere, great team, awesome city and academic programs... Was also recruited by Loyola Marymount, Saint Mary's and Portland. Major: Undecided
