SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Competed in the Mark Convert Invite (23:23.91), the Aztec Invite (23:15.17), the Bronco Invite (26:52.1) and the USD-Pepperdine Dual (13:12).
FRESHMAN (2014-15): Competed in four races in the fall: the Mark Covert Invite (23:34.2), the UC Riverside Invite (21:54), the Bronco Invite (26:20.4), and the Titan Invite (22:00)... Competed in five races in the spring... Had a season best time of 2:39.47 in the 800m at the Triton Invite...Ran the 1500m in 5:39.04 at the Steve Scott Invite.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Great Oak High School in Temecula, Calif... Did not participate in cross-country... Participated in track and field for three years and golf for four years... Helped her golf team win league championships in her freshman, junior, and senior seasons... Was second team all-league in golf her sophomore and junior year and named to the first team and team captain in her senior year... In track qualified for league finals all four years... Personal best in the 800m is 2:23.
PERSONAL: Born August 23, 1996 in Riverside, Calif. to Jeanne and Kevin Talpash... Chose USD for the campus, the location, and for the faith... Her mother attended USD... Was also recruited by Pepperdine, Marist, and Washington & Lee... Irish danced for ten years and qualified for the world championships four times... Her father Kevin played football for Whittier College.
