WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll - 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013
Senior (2012-13): Named WCC Coxswain of the Year... Led the V4 to a win at the WCC Championships... WCC All-Academic honorable mention and WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll recipient (3.36 GPA)... Raced in every competition during the fall and every varsity race in the spring.
Junior (2011-12): Competed with the varsity... Coxed the V8 that took first at the WCC Championships... Named to the Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.30 GPA... WCC All-Academic honorable mention.
Sophomore ([apos]10-[apos]11): Led the 2V8 to a first place finish at WCCs and a second place showing at WIRAs... Named WCC honorable mention All-Academic, while also being named to the WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.35 GPA.
Freshman ([apos]09-`10): Guided the V4 to WCC and WIRA championships.
High School: Attended Merion Mercy Academy where she earned four varsity letters for head coach Michael Brown... rowed at bow in the varsity lightweight eight and stroke in the varsity eight as a senior... was given the Team Heart Award as a senior, while also competing in the SRAA Nationals... as a junior rowed in the third seat with the varsity lightweight eight and competed at SRAA Nationals... competed with the novice four as a sophomore and helped her team win a New Jersey state championship... earned a varsity letter as a freshman as the freshman eight coxswain and helped her team finish third at Stotesbury... also lettered four years apiece in soccer and swimming... rowed with the club team, Merion Mercy Academy Rowing in Philadelphia, Penn. where she competed in Nationals every year on a team that was ranked second in the state of Pennsylvania... was a four-year Honor student and was a member of the National Honor Society and National Arts Honor Society... won the School Spirit Award and the Heart of Mercy Award for outstanding community service.
Personal: Born June 15, 1991 in Lowmoor, VA... parents are Cynthia and Robert Soper... chose USD because of the welcoming team, the academics, NROTC program and the great weather... also considered Loyola Marymount and Fordham... was name to the USD Dean[apos]s List as a freshman... notes that she is the third of six siblings... she is a member of the USD NROTC program... enjoys running, biking, hiking and attending the farmer[apos]s market on her favorite day of the week, Sunday.
