Sophomore (2011-12): Did not compete in any meets in the fall... In the spring, ran the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m. Freshman (2010-11): Was an Alcala Scholarship Holder, while earning academic First Honors (Fall 2010) and Second Honors (Spring 2011). High School: Attended King[apos]s High School, where she earned a total of seven varsity letters in cross country and track and field for head coach Rod Wilcox... Took ninth at the 1A Girls WIIA Cross Country State Championship as a senior... Named Team Captain and Most Valuable Runner, while also clocking a 20:06 in the 5k and 11:59 in the two mile in track as s senior... As a sophomore, took 12th in the State Championships, while also winning her team[apos]s Coaches Award... Named Most Valuable Female Field Athlete in 2010... Recorded the team[apos]s farthest javelin throw at 100[apos]6'. Personal: Born December 24, 1991 in Burbank, Calif.... Parents are Ken and Brigitte Hamm... Chose USD because she loved San Diego, the coach, and the team... Was also recruited by Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine... Her father competed in cross country and track at Pasadena City College...
