The University of San Diego Toreros are making the holiday season bright for many local families. The Student Athlete Advisory Council is collecting gifts for children from the local YMCA youth program. The Third Annual TLC Toy Drive will follow last year's successful efforts with support from Torero fans and the USD and San Diego communities.

Beginning on November 10th, USD Athletes will don Santa hats during several Torero home contests to collect gifts and encourage fans to `Donate a Dollar' for the purchase of gift certificates.

During halftime on November 30th during the men's contest against SDSU, USD student-athletes will present these gifts to representatives from the Mission Valley Family YMCA. Through a variety of efforts, the Toreros intend to support at least 15 families this holiday season.
