(San Diego, CA) -- Briana Zaldivar Ruff has been hired by the University of San Diego for the position of Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing, it was announced today by Ky Snyder, Executive Director of Athletics. Ruff will oversee corporate sponsorship sales, ticket sales, marketing and promotions.

Prior to joining USD, Briana was employed by Anschutz Entertainment Group in Los Angeles and New York as a manager of corporate sales and marketing. Additional experience includes sponsorship sales and marketing positions with ISL Worldwide, Hampton Classic Horse Show in New York and The Asia Sport Group in Hong Kong.

Briana began her career in television, with experience at ESPN, CBS 60 Minutes, NHK Television and STAR Sports. She received her B.A. from University of California at Berkeley and her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
