The University of San Diego invites all USD Alumni and Torero fans to join us for the 27th Annual Sports Banquet Fundraiser on Thursday, June 2nd at 5:30 PM in the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The Sports Banquet is the single greatest fundraiser for Torero Athletics. The evening begins with a special cocktail reception and continues with dinner and the now famous "draw down game". There are a limited number of tickets still remaining for this sure to sell-out event this year. Prizes in the "draw down game" are awarded through a drawing of on an average every 5th attendee and are valued at or above $300. The grand prize is $7,500!

The University of San Diego's annual Sports Banquet was first held in 1978 at the Town & Country Resort. Lead by chairman and major Torero supporter, Chet Pagni, the Sports Banquet quickly earned a reputation for a fantastic "men's only" event, an event filled with great food, drink and prizes. The event began as an invitation by committee member only. Today the event is attended by men and women alike and we are proud to offer the chance for many of our USD alumni and supporters of Torero Athletics to experience the 2005 Sports Banquet.
