Work History/ Duties/ Interests:
Has been a graduate assistant at USD since July 2005. Joe was an intern at USD from December 2003 to June 2005. His primary sport responsibilities have been with the football, baseball and swim team. Before USD Joe interned at UCSD and San Diego Mesa College. He currently teaches undergraduate weight training courses at San Diego State University and is an approved clinical instructor for students in the San Diego State University undergraduate athletic training professional program. His graduate research interest involves using EMG to assess various shoulder strengthening techniques.

- NATA Certified Athletic Trainer
- American Heart Association CPR/AED Certification (Healthcare Provider)
- Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) with the SDSU A.T. Professional Program
- Member of the International Biomechanics Society in Sports
