Work History/ Duties/ Interests:
Hired by USD in 1994, Suzi has worked with a variety of our intercollegiate teams. She has traveled internationally with Men's soccer twice and is currently the athletic trainer assigned to Volleyball, Women's Rowing, and Men's Tennis. Her primary responsibility in the sportsmedicine department revolves around coordinating education programs for the athletic training students enrolled in San Diego State University's undergraduate athletic training professional program. In this role, she has been extremely involved as an Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) and liaison between USD and the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator from SDSU. She has taught athletic training related courses at surrounding Jr. Colleges and Universities in the San Diego area. Athletic Training education is one of Suzi's main professional interests and she is currently enrolled in USD's Educational Leadership Doctoral program. Prior to USD, Suzi worked at Evergreen Physical Therapy in Evergreen, CO. She has also worked at Mankato State University as a graduate assistant and the University of Northern Colorado as an athletic training student.

- Awarded the 2005 Division I-A Assistant Athletic Trainer of the Year Award from the College and University Athletic Trainers' Committee
- BOC test site administrator for the certification examination
