The 34th annual San Diego Crew Classic kicks off the two-day Regatta the morning of Saturday, March 31. The University of San Diego men's and women's rowing squads, in cooperation with the USD Athletic Development office, will be hosting a tent for a barbecue at Crown Point Shores Park on Mission Bay on Sunday, April 1.

The barbeque will go from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the USD tent. Donations are welcome for the meal, and all proceeds will go to the men's and women's rowing teams. A silent auction as well as a raffle will be held on Sunday, and a new tradition begins this weekend for the Torero Rowing programs. On Sunday at 11:45 a.m., the first annual Torero Race of the Year award will be handed out.
