SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego has announced the addition of Joe Parry to the athletic training staff.

Parry was hired as the assistant athletic trainer in July of 2007. He has served as a graduate assistant at USD from July of 2005 through June of 2007. During this time his primary sport responsibilities were with the men's soccer, baseball, football and swim teams.

Before his time at USD he was a student intern at the University of California, San Diego as well as San Diego Mesa College. Parry is also an approved clinical instructor for the athletic training professional program at San Diego State University and supervises athletic training students assigned to USD.

Parry earned his bachelors degree in Kinesiology (Athletic Training) from SDSU in 2005 and he is currently working on completing his MA degree in kinesiology (biomechanics) from SDSU. Joe is married and lives in the Rancho Bernardo area with he wife Mandy and their new born daughter Ryan.
