USD Toreros are making the holiday season bright for many San Diego families. The Student Athlete Advisory Council is collecting gifts for children from the local YMCA youth program. The Sixth Annual TLC Toy Drive will follow last year's successful efforts with support from Torero fans and the USD and San Diego communities. Beginning on November 8th, USD Athletes will don Santa hats during several Torero home contests to collect toys and encourage fans to `Donate a Dollar' for the purchase of gift certificates. During halftime on December 10th during the men's basketball game against New Mexico, USD student-athletes will present these gifts to representatives from the Mission Valley Family YMCA. Through a variety of efforts, the Toreros intend to support at least 15 local families this holiday season.

Fans are asked to bring a toy or `Donate a Dollar' to join the Toy Drive efforts.
