Jan. 19, 2017 SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Torero Timeouts are the new web series that were launched in the fall of 2016 to give Torero fans, friends and family a glimpse of the student-athletes out of the uniform.
Torero Timeouts are released weekly on all the USD Athletics social media sites. One of the best places to catch these, however, are on the big screens during a timeout at the men's or women's basketball games. USD Athletics released the first Timeout of the New Year Wednesday with senior swimmer and aspiring lawyer, Bri Jurries.
In the fall, the series took Timeouts with in-season sports football, volleyball and men's & women's basketball. As the year goes on, stay tuned to see more 60 second highlights with in-season outstanding student-athletes.
Next up is cross-country runner and Associated Student president TJ Hodges. Hodges is not only the first student-athlete AS president in years, but will be graduating as a junior this May with a job lined up at one of the top accounting firms in the country.
