Aug. 16, 2017 SAN DIEGO - With the start of the 2017-18 Torero Athletics season right around the corner, USD is pleased to announce its fall ticket pricing. Torero fans can get into women's and men's soccer matches at Torero Stadium, and women's volleyball matches in the Jenny Craig Pavilion, for the general admission price of $5.
Women's soccer, under the direction of first-year head coach Lou Lieberman, begin their 10-game home schedule on Friday, August 18th, with a 7 p.m. match against Virginia Tech. Men's soccer, under the direction of head coach Season McFadden who enters his 39th and final year at the helm, has an 8-game slate. The Toreros' kickoff their season on Friday, September 1, against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos at 8:30 pm. USD's October 22nd match against UCLA will be billed `Seamus McFadden Night' with a variety of fun events planned around that key nonconference matchup.
The women's volleyball program will have a 12-match home schedule this season beginning with the USD Tournament September 1-2. The Toreros, under the direction of 18th year head coach Jen Petrie, will open with Georgia Tech on September 1st at 1:30 pm. One day later they host No.1 ranked Texas in an early season marquee match-up at 7:30 pm at the JCP. Torero fans can purchase a general admission season ticket to all home volleyball matches for $50.
Torero football fans have a variety of options for the 2017 campaign that includes five 2 p.m. games at Torero Stadium. Under the direction of 5th year head coach Dale Lindsey, the Toreros begin with Western New Mexico on September 2nd. Season tickets can be purchased at the following prices - $60 (reserved seating), $40 (faculty/staff), and a new promotional offer of $40 (recent USD graduates within last five years).
Single game ticket prices for football include the following: reserved seating ($15), general admission ($10 adult, $5 high school student or under). USD faculty and staff receive up to four free general admission tickets (available upon request). The Toreros provide an excellent Family Four Pack for $48; this comes with four general admission tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and one popcorn. Group tickets for general admission only seats are $7 (10 to 19 people), and $5 for groups of 20 or more. Additionally, all military personnel (with proper ID) can receive a complimentary ticket for all Torero home games (excluding premium games).
