MEN'S BASKETBALL (13-5, 4-2 WCC) | TICKETS

This Week: The Toreros play host to Portland on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT before heading to BYU on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Last Time Out: San Diego snapped a two-game losing streak with an impressive, 75-71, victory against LMU. Juwan Gray came off the bench to score a career-high 17 points to lead the Toreros.

Need to Know: The Toreros continue to be one of the top defensive teams in the country and rank No. 1 in 3-point field-goal percentage defense (.255).

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (10-7, 3-3 WCC) | TICKETS

This Week: USD continues conference play this week with a trip to Portland on Thursday at 7 p.m. before returning home for a matchup against BYU at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out: The Toreros split a pair of contests last week, falling to Pacific at home, 81-68, and winning at Loyola Marymount, 60-54.

Need to Know: Maya Hood is in the top-10 all-time in nine major categories for the Toreros and one rebound away from becoming the all-time leader in rebounds in program history.

MEN'S TENNIS

This Week: USD begins its spring season Friday when it plays host to a pair of dual matches against UC Irvine and UC San Diego at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., respectively.

Need to Know: USD finished the 2017 season ranked No. 47 in the country, the seventh straight year the Toreros have finished the year ranked among the top 50.

WOMEN'S TENNIS (0-1)

This Week: San Diego plays host to Oregon on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Last Time Out: The Toreros dropped a 6-1 decision against USC last weekend.

Need to Know: The single point won against the Trojans last weekend was by Carolin Nonnenmacher who rallied to win her set 4-6, 6-4, 10-6.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING

This Week: San Diego makes a quick trip east to San Diego State for its final road dual meet of the season Friday at noon PT.

Last Time Out: Alex Hubel and Danielle Taylor each won an individual event but it was not quite enough to take down Fresno State as the Toreros fell, 167-104.

Need to Know: The Toreros compete in their final home meet of the season on Saturday, Jan. 27 at noon against UCSD.
