This Week » The Toreros will take on a pair of ranked opponents this week, starting at No. 14 Gonzaga on Thursday at 6 p.m. PT. They return home Saturday to play host to No. 13 Saint Mary's at 6 p.m.

Last Time Out » San Diego earned a pair of victories last week, defeating Santa Clara at home, 66-58, and claiming a convincing, 89-82, victory at LMU.

Need to Know » Isaiah Pineiro scored a career-high 29 points during Saturday's win at LMU and was named the WCC Player of the Week for his standout performance.


MEN'S TENNIS

This Week » USD is off this week after earning one of its biggest wins in program history this past weekend. The Toreros return to action Feb. 11 at noon when they play host to UC Santa Barbara.

Last Time Out » USD knocked off No. 10 TCU in dramatic comeback fashion, 4-3, on Saturday. It is the highest-ranked opponent USD has beaten since No. 11 Texas, 4-1, on March 9, 2012. The Toreros played well against No. 24 Duke but came up just short in nearly every match, dropping a 4-0 decision.

Need to Know » USD's win against No. 10 TCU was its first against a top-10 opponent since at least 2000. (USD opponent record rankings available from 2001-18.)


WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (12-9, 5-5 WCC) | TICKETS

This Week » San Diego plays host to first-place Gonzaga on Thursday at 6 p.m. and will travel to Saint Mary's on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out » The Toreros dropped a pair of games last week, dropping a, 59-50, decision at Santa Clara and falling, 67-53, against LMU.

Need to Know » USD will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day during Thursday's game against Gonzaga. Two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion with Team USA, Julie Foudy, will be in attendance for a pregame event and the San Diego Splash will be playing a scrimmage at halftime.


WOMEN'S TENNIS

This Week » USD returns to action this week with a pair of matches, beginning with Grand Canyon on Saturday at 10 a.m. and concluding with Arizona on Sunday at 10 a.m.

Last Time Out » The Toreros did not compete this past weekend. In their most recent match on Jan. 21, Gemma Garcia and Carolin Nonnenmacher provided the highlight against Oregon, winning their doubles match, 6-3. USD ultimately fell to the Ducks, 6-1.

Need to Know » USD spent their week away from competition making a positive impact in the world. The Toreros traveled to Ensenada, Mexico, to support children with food, toys and fun.


WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING

This Week » San Diego returns to action Feb. 14-17 when it begins postseason competition at the MPSF Championships in Los Angeles, California.

Last Time Out » Mackenna Briggs and Alex Hubel won two individual events apiece but it was not enough for San Diego to take down UC San Diego as the Toreros fell, 145.50-137.50.
