This Week » USD concludes a three-game road trip Thursday at 7 p.m. PT when it takes on Pacific. The Toreros return home Saturday at 7 p.m. to take on Loyola Marymount.

Last Time Out » It took a little extra time but the Toreros got its conference road slate started with a victory, pulling out an, 81-74, overtime decision at Portland. USD continued to play well and led for a majority of its contest at Saint Mary's but was ultimately undone by a late run by the Gaels and fell, 70-63.

Need to Know » Isaiah Wright scored a career-high 30 points in the Torero's win against Portland and leads the team with 15.1 points per game.

This Week » The Toreros complete their three-game homestand Thursday at 6 p.m. against Pacific in the Jenny Craig Pavilion before heading to Loyola Marymount on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tipoff.

Last Time Out » USD played host to Portland and Saint Mary's in back-to-back conference games. The Toreros edged out the Pilots, 59-52, but dropped a, 75-53, decision against the Gaels.

Need to Know » The Toreros are outscoring opponents by 4.9 points per game during the 2017-18 season.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING

This Week » The Toreros continue a stretch of three home meets in four weeks this Saturday when they play host to Fresno State at 11 a.m.

Last Time Out » Kailyn Evans won two individual events to highlight San Diego's Saturday afternoon at the USD Shootout against Villanova at the Sports Center Pool. Despite Evans' standout performance, USD ultimately fell to the Wildcats, 80-47.

Need to Know » Evans finished first in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:09.81 and paced the field in the 50 breaststroke in 30.88.

MEN'S TENNIS

This Week » USD has a week break to prepare for its first team matches of the season when it plays host to UC Irvine and UC San Diego on Jan. 19 at 10:30 a.m.

Last Time Out » August Holmgren won his first match of the USA F2 Futures tournament, defeating Victor Krustev, 7-5, 6-3, to highlight the Toreros weekend. He dropped his second-round match to Brandon Nakashima, 6-3, 6-2.

Need to Know » Freshman, David Norfeldt, made his collegiate debut for the Toreros at the tournament and played well but dropped a, 6-2, 6-2, decision to Indiana's Zac Brodney.
