This Week » USD hosts No. 6 Gonzaga at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on Thursday at 6 p.m. PT for Senior Night. Then they will hit the road Saturday for their last game of the regular season at San Francisco at 7 p.m.
Last Time Out » The Toreros split a pair of games last week, falling to Pacific on Thursday night, 67-55, and dominating BYU on Saturday, 75-62.
Need to Know » Olin Carter scored 13 points against BYU and became the 25th player in program history to score 1,000 career points.

This Week » USD will compete in their final road game of the regular season at Gonzaga on Thursday at 6 p.m. then return home for Senior Day against San Francisco at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Last Time Out » The Toreros split their two road games last week. They started their trip at Pacific and dropped a 62-60 decision. Then they headed to BYU where they earned a, 66-60, victory.
Need to Know » Aubrey Ward-El has scored at least 10 points in 25-of-27 games this season, including each of the past 16 striaght.
BASEBALL (2-2)
This Week » The Toreros will spend most of their week at home, beginning with hosting British Columbia in an exhibition game Monday at 6 p.m. Their one road game will be at crosstown rival San Diego State on Tuesday at 6 p.m. USD returns home on the weekend to co-host the Tony Gwynn Legacy Tournament with San Diego State. The Toreros will take on Michigan on Friday at 6 p.m., Grand Canyon on Saturday at 6 p.m., Arkansas on Sunday at 10 a.m. and Arizona on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Last Time Out » USD hosted California and Cincinnati last weekend to open their season. After travel complications and schedule changes, the series was played in full at Fowler Park. The Toreros played their first game of the season against Cal on Friday night, and lost 6-1. However, they followed it up Saturday afternoon with a win, 11-8. USD split a pair of decisions on Sunday against Cincinnati, losing the first, 7-4, and winning the second via a walkoff by Brhet Bewley, 4-3.
Need to Know » Jay Schuyler hit two home runs to left field in the second game against Cincinnati Sunday. His second homer came in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game at 3-3.
SOFTBALL (6-5)
This Week » USD remains on the road this week and will travel to Cal State Fullerton on Thursday at 5 p.m. The Toreros will compete at the Gaucho Classic in Santa Barbara during the weekend and will play two games on Friday against Dayton at noon and 2 p.m. They'll compete in one more matchup against Dayton on Saturday at noon followed by a game against UCSB at 2 p.m. Finally, they will compete against UCSB for the second time on Sunday at 10 a.m.
Last Time Out » The Toreros had a strong 5-1 start to the season, but struggled at the Littlewood Classic, moving their record to 6-5. They lost four of their five games in the tournament against Illinois State, Texas State, and Arizona State. However, they pulled off an impressive victory against North Dakota, winning, 11-3.
Need to Know » Freshman Halle Kyler has thrown complete games in all four of her starts this season.
MEN'S TENNIS (4-2)
This Week » USD will host crosstown rival, San Diego State, on Friday at 2 p.m.
Last Time Out » The Toreros split a pair of decisions this weekend at home. They dropped Saturday's matchup against Arizona State, 4-3, but flipped the script Sunday afternoon, beating Fresno State, 4-3.
Need to Know » One of Fresno State's singles players was Henrique Osario, who is USD's Gui Osorio's twin brother. Bragging rights went to Gui with the Toreros win. They did not play against each other in Sunday's match.
WOMEN'S TENNIS
This Week » The Toreros have this week off and will prepare for the beginning of conference play against Santa Clara on March 2 at 1:30 p.m.
Last Time Out » USD shutout Cal Poly, 4-0, to claim its second consecutive victory.
Need to Know » Nicole Anderson, Daniela Morales and Gemma Garcia all won their doubles and singles matches to secure the sweep against Cal Poly.
WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING
Last Time Out » USD competed at the MPSF Championships at East Los Angeles College this past weekend and placed seventh overall. The Toreros broke three school records in relay events and Danielle Taylor set a 200-yard freestyle program record in the leadoff position of the 800 free relay.
Need to Know » The Toreros finished second in the 800 free relay, which is the highest finish in the event in school history.
MEN'S CREW
This Week » The Toreros are competing in the City Championships at Mission Bay. They will compete against UC San Diego and Orange Coast College at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
Need to Know » This is the first race for the Toreros the spring season.
