This Week » The Toreros make their 2018 season debut with five home games this week. They open the weekend against Campbell on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. PT. USD will play two more versus the Camels on Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. San Diego will also play host to CSU Bakersfield on Friday at 3:30 p.m., Saturday at 5:00 p.m., and Sunday at noon.

Last Time Out » San Diego took No. 14 Gonzaga down to the wire, making it a two-point game twice in the final five minutes but could not complete the upset and fell, 69-59. They returned home to play host to No. 13 Saint Mary's on Saturday night and nearly pulled the upset, but a last-second 3-pointer came up just short and the Gaels escaped with a, 65-62, win.
Need to Know » USD is second in the country and leads the WCC in 3-point field goal defense (28.6 percent). The only team better than the Toreros in this category? Grand Canyon - a team the Toreros beat earlier this season on the road, 72-62.

This Week » The Toreros play host to Hawaii at 1:30 p.m. on Friday and head to San Diego State on Saturday at noon.
Last Time Out » USD earned a 4-1 victory Friday over Grand Canyon University to collect their first dual match victory of the season. They followed up with a match at Arizona where nearly won their second match of the weekend but were edged, 4-3.
Need to Know » Maria-Paula Torres is on a three game winning streak as a singles player and Gemma Garcia and Carolin Nonnenmacher also have a three win streak as a doubles team.

This Week » The Toreros will host UC Santa Barbara for a Sunday afternoon match at noon PT.
Last Time Out » San Diego earned one of its most impressive victories in program history in dramatic fashion Saturday, Jan. 27th, defeating No. 10 TCU, 4-3. However, the following day San Diego was unable to take down No. 24 Duke as the Toreros fell, 4-0.
