SOPHOMORE (2022)
- Ran in six events in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m
- Finished 19th in 5000m at the Cal State Twilight
FRESHMAN (2021)
- Ran in three meets for the Toreros
- Finished a season-high 15th in the 5000m at the Franson Classic
- Finished 32nd overall in the 1500m at the UCR Invite
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Competed in cross country and track and field
- Served as the cross country team captain in 2019
- Team won the DIII Cross Country Team State Championship (2016, 2018)
- Was the first female individual DIII Cross Country State Champion in Salpointe Catholic school history (2019)
- Named to the All-State team for cross country (2016-20)
- Named the Female Junior and Senior Athlete of the Year at Salpointe Catholic High School
- Owns the Distance Medley school record
- Team and individual automatic state qualifier for track (2016-20)
PERSONAL
- Daughter of Joe Delgado, Jr. and Anna Marie Delgado, has one brother, Diego
- A member of the National Honors Society (2018-20)
- Served on the Governing Body in Assisteens (2016-20)
- Earned the AP Scholar Award
- Served as a Eucharistic minister at her church (2017-20)
- Hobbies include art, photography, hiking, jewelry making and reading
- Chose USD because “of core values that it instills not only into the curriculum, but the community. Taking our knowledge beyond ourselves and seeking the betterment of both ourselves and the world simultaneously is why I wanted to attend University of Diego.”
