- Competed in five meets in the 800m, 1500m and 5000m
- Made her Torero debut in the 1500m at the PLNU Invitational, running a 5:09.52
- Bested that mark by nearly four seconds in her next outing at the UCSD Triton Invitational
FRESHMAN (2020-21)
- Did not see action during the track & field campaign
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Was a multi-sport athlete competing in soccer, basketball, cross country and track
- Named the Most Improved Athlete in track her junior year
- Four-time scholar athlete
PERSONAL
- Daughter of Clyde and Veronica Hamstreet, has a twin brother, Alexander
- A member of the National Charity League (7 years)
- Member of the National Spanish Honors Society
- Served her community through volunteering at My Hood Kiwanis Camp
- Hobbies include camping, fishing, photography and cooking
- Enjoys hanging out with friends, impromptu dance parties and traveling
- Chose USD because of, “its academic programs and flexibility, the opportunity to compete here, the beautiful location and the fact that it is relatively close to home”
