Prep/College Came to USD from nearby Saddleback Junior College... Competed in a number of tournaments for the Toreros as a junior in 2004-05, highlighted by a 16th place finished overall to help San Diego win the Men[apos]s Fidelity National Title... Led Saddleback to a pair of Orange Empire Conference Team Championships... As an individual Lipus finished 2nd and 4th in state competition... Two-year letterman at El Toro High School... Was a South Coast League Individual Champion as a junior and senior... Named All-Orange County senior year, leading El Toro to a 2nd place finish in CIF... Also helped El Toro win two South Coast League Team Championships.
