Biography
Sophomore in 2004-05: Placed 1st in the 50 yard Freestyle (25.93) against NAU in late January... Placed 5th in the 50 Freestyle (26.63) against swimmers from Nebraksa, Rice and Nevada at the USD Quadrangular... Turned in a top-tier finish and was USD[apos]s top swimmer in the 50 Freestyle (25.08) at the 2004 Speedo Cup... Paced USD in the 100 Freestyle (57.29) at the Big West Shootout... Also swam with USD[apos]s 200 yard Medley and 400 Freestyle Relay teams during the season... Swam in a number of events at the 2005 WAC Championships but did not place.
Freshman in 2003-04: Was a nice addition for the Toreros in the Freestyle events... Placed 21st in the 100 yard Freestyle event with a time of (55.26) and clocked in at (25.42) in the 50 Free to place 29th at this year[apos]s PCSC meet... Came in 5th place against UCLA in the 50 Free (29.85) and against UCSB in the 100 Free (59.17)... Clocked in at (26.96) in the 50 Free to place 7th against University of Nevada-Reno.
Prep: Attended Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua, Wisconsin... Was named team captain her senior year and placed seventh in the 200 Freestyle Relay at the state championships... Placed in the top-10 at her high school state championships in the 50 Freestyle and 200 Freestyle Relay as a junior... Was an All-WIAA State swimmer in the 200 Medley Relay, 400 Freestyle, and 50 Freestyle as a sophomore... Was assistant coach for the Northern Lakes Aquatics club her sophomore and junior year... Member of the Nordic Ski Team at Lakeland Union High School, which took 2nd place at High School State Championships.
Personal: Chose USD because of the climate... Also recruited by Lawrence University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Carleton College, among others... Daughter of Charlie and Eileen Lonsdorf.
