Sophomore in 2004-05: Placed in the finals of the 100 yard Butterfly (1:01.10) at the 2005 WAC Championships... Placed 2nd in the 50 yard Freestyle (26.13) vs. NAU... Competed as part of USD[apos]s 200 yard Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay teams during the season... Placed 2nd overall in the 50 Freestyle (25.33) against LMU... Turned in a top-tier finish in the 50 Freestyle (25.41) at the 2004 Speedo Cup... 4th overall and USD[apos]s top 50 Freestyle swimmer against UCLA. Freshman in 2003-04: Culminated a strong season by placing 5th overall at the PCSC Championships in the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of (1:37.97)... Also finished 18th at the PCSC[apos]s in the 100 Butterfly (1:01.16) and 25th in the 50 Freestyle (24.93)... Clocked in at (28.71) to finish 3rd against UCLA in the 50 Freestyle... Earned a 3rd place finish in the 50 yard Freestyle event against LMU. Prep: Swam at Campolindo High School in Moraga, California...Led Campolindo to three consecutive NCS Conference Championships...Was an NCS relay record holder...Member of the Orinda Aquatics club team...Team placed in the top five at sectionals and named Far Western champions. Also recruited by UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, and Columbia, among others out of high school... Chose to attend USD because of the competitive swim program, academics, and small class sizes and personal attention from teachers... Also played soccer until her sophomore year of high school.
