Biography
Freshman in 2003-04: Strong swimmer in the Freestyle and Backstroke events for the Toreros in her first year at San Diego... Finished in 5th in the 200 yard Freestyle event against LMU with a time of 2:03.79...Clocked in at 26.35 in the 50 Free to take 5th against UCSB... Swam into another 5th place finish in the 200 Back against Northridge (2:27.76)... Paquette has also been a key member of several Torero relay teams.
Prep: Attended Holy Names Academy in Vashon, WA... Varsity swimmer for the three years her high school won the Metro League... Varsity captain senior year... Received the coaches award junior year... Most Improved her sophomore year... Also a member of the Yasison Aquatic Club Senior Team that qualified for Sectionals/Regionals.
Personal: Chose USD because of location, the swim program, recommendations, and scholarships... Born in Seattle, WA on August 25, 1984... Minoring in Italian at USD... She has traveled and competed in China, Spain, and Italy.
