Sophomore (2014): Competed in six of USD's seven fall races... Ran a personal best time of 25:26.6 at the Bronco Invite... Finished in the top three among USD runners in three races... Raced in the Mark Convert Classic (26:56.4), the UC Riverside Invite (26:03), the Paul Short Invite (26:33), and the WCC Championships (26:29)... Also competed in the 10k at the NCAA West Regionals where he finished in 32:36. Freshman (2013): Raced in five meets during the fall... Had a season-best 8k of 27:08 at the West Coast Invite... Clocked a 27:49 at the WCC Championships (70th place overall)... Also competed at the Mark Covert Classic (27:42), Stanford Invite (29:08), and Bronco Invite (27:09). High School: Earned three varsity letters apiece in cross country and track at Del Norte High School... Was a three-time 1st-team All-CIF honoree... Won his cross country team's Iron Man Award as a junior and senior... Named school Athlete of the Year as a junior... During his senior year, set school records in the following events: 1600m, 4x800m, 4x1600m, distance medley and 5k... As a junior, set school records in the 4x400m and 800m. Personal: Born Mar. 29, 1995 in San Diego, Calif... Serves as a counselor at Runner's Workshop during the summer... Enjoys golf and reading... Also works at the USD bookstore. Major: Economics
