RS Junior: Named to the WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.42 GPA... Ran his best time of the fall at the UC Riverside Invitational (27:22)... Placed 73rd at the WCC Championships (28:11)... Also competed in the Fullerton Invitational (28:25.7) and Stanford Invite (28:37). RS Sophomore (2011-12): Ran his season-best 8k time of 27:53.5 at the Titan Invitational... Also competed in the Fullerton Invite (28:45.0), UC Riverside Invitational (27:54.2) and the Bronco Invite (29:27.1)... Named to the WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.29 GPA. High School/Prep: Attended Damien High School, earning three varsity letters in cross country and track and field for head coach Doctor Michael Williams... Served as team captain during his senior year while posting a personal record 17:01 at Mt. Sac... Was a Sierra League finalist in the 3200M as a junior and the 1600M and 3200M as a sophomore... During his junior year, posted personal records with a 10:20 in the 3200M and a 4:50 in the 1600M. Personal: Born September 3, 1991 in San Dimas, Calif.... Son of Monica Villaquiran... Chose USD for the academics and the location... Was also recruited by the University of La Verne... His brother, Carlo, runs cross country and track and field for UC Riverside...
