Last Time Out » The Toreros traveled to Claremont, Calif. this past weekend to participate in the WCC Tournament. They won their match in the semifinals against Portland, 4-2. They advanced to the finals against Loyola Marymount and won the match, 4-0.
This Week » The selection show for the NCAA Tournament will be aired Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Need to Know » The Toreros won their fifth consecutive WCC Tournament title and will compete in the NCAA Tournament for the eighth straight season.
BASEBALL (20-24, 9-12 WCC)
This Week » USD begins the week at No. 9 Texas Tech for a nonconference matchup at noon. The Toreros return home this weekend to host Gonzaga for a three-game series with contests on Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.             ÂÂ
Last Time Out » The Toreros were on the road last week, beginning at UC Irvine on Tuesday where they dropped a 10-7 decision. Then they headed out to Provo, Utah, to play a three-game series at BYU. After losing the first contest, 9-1, the Toreros turned it around to win the series with two wins, 11-6 on Friday and 9-5 on Saturday.
Need to Know » Sunday's 1 p.m. game is Senior Day for the Toreros at Fowler Park.
SOFTBALL (25-24, 4-8 WCC)
This Week » The Toreros complete their season this weekend at home against BYU with a three-game series. They open on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Last Time Out » USD hosted LMU last weekend in a three-game series. The Toreros dropped their first contest on Saturday in eight innings, 7-3. They fell in the next two games, 9-2 and 6-0.
Need to Know » Softball will host their Senior Day before their first game on Saturday at 11 a.m.
TRACK AND FIELD
Last Time Out » The Toreros competed at UC Irvine in the Adidas/Steve Scott Invitational where they recorded an impressive performance with Natalie North-Cole, Sam Mattice, Jackson Pearce, Patrick Bruce and Max Pedrotti all finishing in first place for their respective races.
Need to Know » A new school record was set by the all-freshman relay team of Kate Kohler, Sera Parvin, Jessica Ong and Molly Klein in the 4x400 race. Additionally, Hannah Rasmussen broke the school freshman record with her performance in the 1500m race and Sera Parvin in the 800m.
MEN'S CREW
Last Time Out » USD competed at the WIRA Championships last weekend where three boats made it to the Grand Finals. The V8+ team placed fifth in their race, and the 2V8+ and freshman boats placed sixth in their races.

Football's Ross Dwelley will continue his football career after he was signed by the San Francisco 49ers.
