Eight Toreros Selected 2004 Spring WCC All-Academic

The 2004 West Coast Conference Spring All-Academic teams honor some of the league's finest examples of the consummate scholar-athlete. At the completion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each of the participating sports. USD had a total of eight student-athletes named to five different teams with men's golf leading the way with three selections. Joey Prast, a senior on the baseball team, made it for the third time.

USD's eight student-athletes named to 2004 WCC Spring All-Academic teams include: BASEBALL - Joey Prast (Sr., Accounting/Economics) and Justin Blaine (So., Business); MEN'S GOLF - Yen Yi Chen (Jr., Accounting), Tim Cureton (Sr., Business) and Jimmy Harris (So., Business); MEN'S TENNIS - Pierrick Ysern (So., Business); WOMEN'S TENNIS - Lauren Kazarian (Jr., Accountancy); and WOMEN'S ROWING - Kelsey Watters (Sr., Biology).
