All of USD's home events that are scheduled for this weekend will be played as planned, it was announced today by Jo-Ann Nester, Director of Athletics. The air quality has improved significantly from the recent San Diego fires, and should only get better. The women's volleyball team hosts Gonzaga Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Jenny Craig Pavilion and admission is free.

On Saturday, the women's basketball team plays an exhibition at 2:00 p.m. against Point Loma Nazarene in the Jenny Craig Pavilion, and the women's volleyball team returns to play Portland at 7 pm. The football team hosts Butler in a PFL contest at 7 pm at Torero Stadium.

On Sunday, the women's soccer team will host Gonzaga at 1 pm in a West Coast Conference match at 1 pm, and the men's basketball team will host the L.A. Stars in an exhibition at 2:30 pm at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

All of the above events, with the exception of football, are free to the public.
