The University of San Diego Student Athlete Council is proud to present the 1st annual "Toreros Linking to the Community" Toy Drive on Wednesday, December 3rd at the Torero men's basketball game versus San Diego State at 7 p.m. in the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game which will be donated to the Mission Valley YMCA's Holiday Program to be given to a family in need in our community this holiday season. The Holiday Program is an annual event benefiting local families in need.

The Torero Student Athlete Council is working in conjunction with the student-athlete council from San Diego State. Both councils are committed to supporting local San Diego YMCA Holiday Programs. The program allows for families throughout San Diego that are less fortunate or that have been affected by the San Diego wildfires to still have an enjoyable holiday season despite their misfortunes. As a community member, you can help the student-athlete councils in their joint-community service project by showing your support and bringing a toy to the December 3rd game.
