Biography
SENIOR (2022-23)
- Competed in two cross country events for the Toreros
- Also competed in four track meets for the Toreros
- Set a 1500m PR at the PLNU Invitational of 4:13.03 and finished 15th
- Turned in a 5000m time of 16:27.98 at the Ross and Sharon Irwin meet
JUNIOR (2021-22)
- Raced in one cross country event, running an 8K time of 28:31.9 at the Mark Covert Classic
- Also competed in three track meets in the 1500m
- Set a 1500m PR of 4:15.71 at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational
SOPHOMORE (Spring 2021)
- Did not compete during the spring season
FRESHMAN (2019)
- Competed in three meets for the Toreros
- Placed in the top 40 (29:35) at the USD Invite (9/13/19)
- Ran a personal-best 28:05 in the Highlander Invitational (10/19/19)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Served as captain of the cross country team for two years
- Team ran in the Cross Country State Meet (2015-2018)
- Team won the 2017 6A State Championship
- Earned the 2017 Cross Country Coaches Award
- Won the 2018 “Bear Claw” Award for being a role model athlete at and outside of practice
- Placed second at the 2018 Covered Bridge 5k
- Served as captain of the track and field team for two years
PERSONAL
- Son of Jeff and Meeghan, has one sibling Colby
- Served his community by helping create community gardens and remodeling an apartment complex for single mothers in the Atlanta area
- Was a scholar athlete all four years of high school
- Hobbies include hiking, reading and cooking
