FRESHMAN (2015): Set a personal best at the Bronco Invite with a time of 25:59.7... Also competed in the Mark Covert Classic (27:18), the Aztec Invite (28:21.96), the Capital Cross Challenge (28:00.6), and the WCC Championships (29:15.8).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois where he earned four varsity letters under Coach Dave Wisner... He finished in the top-15 in conference all four years and was an all-conference honoree in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons... Helped his team win their conference in his junior and senior seasons... Helped his team finish sixth in state in his junior season... In his senior year ran career best times in the 800m (1:56), 1600m (4:30), 3200m (9:36), and three mile (15:25).

PERSONAL: Was born January 25, 1997 in Mumbai, India to Sumeet and Vinnie Kanwar... Chose USD for the beautiful campus, tradition of academic excellence, and because he fit in with the team on his visit.... Was also recruited by UCLA, Santa Clara, Miami, and Davidson... Has lived all around the world including: India, Singapore, London, and Chicago.
