Biography
Senior (2016-17): Competed in every fall race and set a personal record at the Bronco Invite (21:47.5)... Also competed in the Mark Covert Classic (19:50.09), the USD Invite (23:41), the Paul Short Invite (22:17), the WCC Championships (23:15.7), and the NCAA Regionals (22:33).
Junior (2015-16): Competed in every race in the fall except for one... Had a season best time in the 6k at the Bronco Invite (22:25.5)... In the spring, set a new personal best five times... Had career best times in the 5k (17:37.53), the 1500m (4:47.82), the 10k (37:03.99), and the 3k (10:21.23).
Sophomore (2014-15): Competed in five races in the fall... Had a personal best time of 22:20 in the 6k at the WCC Championships... Also competed in the Mark Covert Invite (20:23.6), the UC Riverside Invite (19:18.5), the Bronco Invite (22:33), and the NCAA West Regionals (23:50)... Competed in all seven of USD's seven spring races and ran five personal bests... Set a new PR in the 1500m three times, posting a best time of 4:52.87 at the Steve Scott Invite... Set new personal best in the 3k (10:33.58)... Ran personal best 17:57.31 in the 5k in final race of the year.
Freshman (2013-14): Ran in four races during the fall season... Had a personal best time of 22:28 in the 6k at the Bronco Invite... During the spring track season set personal bests in the 1500m (4:55.86) and 3k (10:40.97) at the UCSD Trition Invitational.
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner at Del Norte High School... Earned first-team all-league honors each year... Named team MVP as a senior... Team captain as a junior... Named Most Improved Athlete her sophomore year... Her team won CIF her sophomore year... Also lettered three times in track... Set school records in the 1600m and 3200m... Was her team's Outstanding Track Athlete as well as Outstanding Distance Runner... Was also a Scholar Athlete nomination.
Personal: Born June 30, 1995 in San Diego, Calif.... Chose USD for the location, academics, and athletics... Enjoys reading, writing, and playing the violin.
