Biography

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2024-25)
  • Raced 12 times for the Toreros during the track season and did not compete during the cross country campaign
  • Made her USD debut at the Riverside City College Invite (Feb. 28) placing fourth in the second heat of the 800m race at 2:21.67
  • Placed third in the third heat of the 800m race at 2:19.21 during the Aztec Invitational (March 21-22)  
  • Logged a fourth-place finish in the third heat of the 800 meters at 2:20.76 at the Triton Invitational (April 4-5)
  • Recorded a third-place finish in the second heat of the 800 meters at 2:19.50 during the Leopard Distance Carnival (April 18)
  • Also at the Leopard Distance Carnival, Curry placed second in the 4x400 meter relay along with Dow, Gaspar and Betlach at 4:03.4, which was the third best 4x400 meter relay time in USD program history 
  • Set a personal record for her first win of the season in the first heat of the 800 meters at the Oxy Invitational (May 3) at 2:16.60, which was the ninth-fastest 800-meter time in program history.
  • Also at the Oxy Invitational, Curry logged a third place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with Dow, Gaspar and Kaitlyn McQuillen) at 4:03.80
  • Finished off the season with her second-best time in the 800 meters of the season at 2:18.30 during the Franson Last Chance meet (May 9-10)
FRESHMAN (2023-24 – at Ole Miss)
  • Did not compete during either the cross country or track and field season in her freshman year as a student at Ole Miss
HIGH SCHOOL
  • Attended South County where she was a four-year captain in swim and dive (2020-23) and captained her senior year on the track and field team (2023)
  • A four-time All-American in both Track and Field and Swimming 
  • A state qualifier in 16 swimming events
  • Competed for Team USA in water skiing where she was a 2021 and 2024 State Champion in slalom and trick events
PERSONAL
  • Chose USD because it was one of the very few schools that would allow her to do NROTC while being a student-athlete and attaining a top-tier education all at the same time
  • Favorite track memory is going All-American in the 4x4 in high school and being able to compete at Penn Relays
