- Placed in the top 50 (26:14) of the USD Invite (9/13/19)
- Ran a personal-best 26:01 at the Highlander Invitational (10/19/19)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Varsity letterman all four years of high school
- NCS Scholar Athlete (2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019)
- Placed fifth in the Diablo Valley Athletic League in the 800m (2016)
- Was the freshman-sophomore champion for cross country in 2015Â
PERSONAL
- Daughter of Gonzalo and Malena Castro, has one sibling, Sebastian
- Served as a youth group leader at St. John Vianney Church and a Bible camp counselor
- Was a junior coach for the St. Joh Vianney track and field team
- Member of the Northgate High School Honors Circle
- Enjoys hiking, biking, traveling and going to the beach
