FRESHMAN (2008): Helped the Torero receive a national ranking as high as No. 11...helped the team advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. FRESHMAN (2007): Redshirted at USD.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in soccer playing for coach Matty West at Mater Dei High School...as a sophomore, she scored seven goals in helping her seam become a CIF division I finalist...as a junior she tallied eight goals and three assists, was named second-team All-Trinity League and helped lead her team to the league championship...played club soccer for the Cypress Elite Futbol Club (Premier League)...in 2006, she helped the team to the quarterfinals of the National Cup, helped her team to the final four of the Las Vegas Cup as well as earning a League championship...in 2007, she helped her team will the NHB Cup.

PERSONAL: Megan Detrick was born on March 9, 1989 in Newport Beach, Calif...she is the daughter of David and Elizabeth Detrick...was also heavily recruited by Dartmouth, UC Irvine and Wheaton...chose to attend USD because of the academic reputation, the size, location, its Catholic heritage and its outstanding women[apos]s soccer program...will be majoring in business.
