Biography
Freshman in 2003-04: Solid performance at the 2004 PCSC meet... Took 12th place in the 500 yard Freestyle (5:07.37) and 17th in the 200 Free (1:58.48)... Swam on the 400 Medley Relay team that placed 19th at the championship meet with a time of (4:47.42)... Also swam well in her first appearance at the Irvine Speedo Cup, clocking in at (17:59.05) to place 18th in the 1650 Free and finished 16th in the 500 Free with a time of (5:12.49) at the Speedo Cup... Individually, Hearn placed 3rd in the 1000 yard Freestyle event against LMU and 4th in the 500 Free and was an integral part of the 400 Medley Relay team.
Prep: Came to USD from Leland High School in San Jose, California... Received MVP honors and was named team captain both junior and senior years... Awarded the Gordon Leland Award and the Coach[apos]s Award her senior year... Was a multiple record holder at the Almaden Swim and Racquet Club.
Personal: Marine Science major... Born on April 24, 1985... Daughter of Greg and Regina Hearn... Chose to attend USD because of the location and size of the school... Also recruited by LMU, UC Santa Cruz, and Pepperdine.
