Biography
Freshman in 2004-05: Posted some outstanding times in a number of different individual events while contributing to a pair of USD[apos]s top relay times as a true freshman... Helped USD place in both the 200 yard Freestyle Relay and the 200 yard Medley Relay at the 2005 WAC Championships... Swam a (24.48), placing in the 50 Freestyle at the WAC[apos]s... Finished 13th overall in the 100 yard Butterfly (58.62), the second-best time in the event for any Torero in 2004-05, at the WAC Championships... Finished 3rd and was USD[apos]s top swimmer in both the 100 Butterfly (1:01.28) and the 50 Freestyle (25.23) vs. NAU... Won the 100 yard Butterfly (59.30) and turned in a 2nd place finish in both the 100 Freestyle (54.61) and the 200 Butterfly (25.12) against UCSD... Won the100 yard Breaststroke outright (1:08.18) against LMU... Was 2nd overall in the 100 Butterfly (1:00.18) as USD[apos]s top swimmer against Rice, Nebraska and Nevada at the USD Quadrangular... Posted three top-10 finishes at the Big West Shootout... Won the 50 yard Freestyle (25.01) and helped USD win the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:40.65) at the USD Invitational.
Prep: Attended Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio... Earned Academic All-America honors as a prep senior... Helped Ursuline establish a state record in 200 Freestyle Relay... Garnered All-America recognition in 50 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Freestyle Relay, and 200 Medley Relay as a junior... Ursuline won state championship titles during her freshman and sophomore seasons... Coached by Tim Beerman.
Personal: Born on August 3, 1985 in Akron, Ohio... Chose USD for the team, campus and strong academics... Daughter of David and Sandra Lipari.
