Biography
SOPHOMORE (2022)
- Ran in six events as an 800m and 1500m runner
- Set a new 1500m PR of 4:59.04 at the Bryan Clay Invitational
- Was the team's top finisher at the Titan Tune-Up, taking home a top-10 finish.
FRESHMAN (2021)
- Ran in five meets for the Toreros
- Recorded a personal best in the 1500m at the Bryan Clay invitational
- Finished 17th overall in the 1500m at the Franson Classic
- Finished 15th overall in the 800m at the UCR Invite
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Served as the cross country and track and field captain for one season
- Named All-League MVP for Cross Country and was inducted into her high school’s Cross Country Hall of Fame in 2019
- Earned All-League first team honors in cross country (2016-19)
- Named to the All-League second team for the 1600m in track in 2018 and 2019
- Cross country team was undefeated in the Hacienda League for four years and won four championships (2016-19)
- Track and field team was also league champions for three consecutive years (2017-19)
- Recognized for her work in the classroom being named an All-League Academic for cross country (2018 and 2019) and an All-League Scholar Athlete in track and field (2019)
PERSONAL
- Daughter of German and Christina Ghibaudo, has a twin sister, Lauren, who will also attend USD
- Completed over 120 service hours as a Key Club Cabinet Leader over four years
- Member of the National Honor Society
- Hobbies include archery, wakeboarding and cycling
- Chose USD because of “the close-knit community, small class sizes and supportive team culture. I have confidence that the career preparation services at USD and the numerous internship opportunities within San Diego will prepare me for my future.”
