- Ran in multiple track meets for San Diego
- Earned a personal best at the Aztec Invite
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Harrison High School in New York where she earned a combined 12 varsity letters in cross-country, winter track and spring track
- Was a two-time all-league selection and helped her team win two league championships
- Was a two-time team team MVP
- Was team captain her senior year in all three sports
- A four-time scholar athlete
PERSONAL
- Born July 4, 1998 in White Plains, NY to Joan and Bob Pertak
- Chose USD for the beautiful campus and location
- Was also recruited Cal State San Marcos, Dominican University and SUNY Plattsburgh
- Ran for the USD cross-country club her freshman year
- Her father Bob played soccer and participated in track and field at Iowa
- Her mother Joan and aunt Dawn ran cross-country and did high jump at SUNY Albany
- Notes she was a swimmer for 12 years and did dance all four years of high school
- Loves the beach and sunsetsÂ
