HONORS AND AWARDS
- WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll (2015 & 2016)
JUNIOR (2016-17)
- Competed in three races in the fall
- Finished the Mark Covert Classic in 19:19.29
- Completed the USD Invite in 23:34
- Competed in the Paul Short Invite (22:13)
- Was able to compete in 2 races in the spring
- Ran the Ben Clay Invite 5k in 18:22.75
- Ran a 3k at the Triton Invite in 10:28.88
SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
- Did not compete due to injury
FRESHMAN (2014-15)
- Competed in six of the Toreros' seven races in the fall
- Ran a personal best time of 21:43 at the WCC Championships, beating her previous best time of 21:52.3 set at the Bronco Invite
- Also raced in the Mark Covert Invite 5k (19:36.4), the UC Riverside Invite (22:04), the Paul Short Invite (22:03), and the NCAA West Regionals (22:32)
- Competed in all seven spring races, running multiple personal bests... Ran the 5k in 17:23.81 in the final race of the year
- Ran the 1500m in 4:47.18 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite, the second best time for USD
- Set a personal record in the 3km with a time of 10:17.07 at the Triton Invite
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Saint Pius X High School where she ran for Coach Jeff Turcotte
- In her senior year was named to All-City, All-District, & All-State teams after finishing third at state
- Named to All-District team all four years
- Named to All-City team in her junior and senior season
PERSONAL
- Born August 28, 1996 to Stephanie and Armand Giannini in Albuquerque, NM
- On why she chose USD, "When I visited the University, I felt welcomed by all and that this was a great place to call home. I felt that the academics offered here would assist me in my career choice, and I also enjoyed the team and the coaches"
- Also was recruited by Kansas, Santa Clara, Creighton, New Mexico, and New Mexico State
- Enjoys cooking and making pastries
