JUNIOR - XC (2024)

• Competed in five races for the Toreros
• Opened her junior campaign at the Mark Covert Classic (Aug. 31), completing the 5K race in 19:41.2
• Recorded her fastest 6K time at the Highlander Invite (October 19) at 23:05.6 to finish off the regular season 
• Completed the WCC Championships (Nov. 2) and the NCAA West Regionals with respective 6K times of 23:24.9 and 23:15.8

JUNIOR - TRACK (2025)

• Raced seven times for USD 
• Began her season in personal record fashion, completing the 3000m race in 11:00.20 at the Riverside City College Invite (Feb. 28)
• Broke her 1500 meter personal record during the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 17-18) at 4:43.24, which also marked the 14th fastest 1500 meter time in program history
• Registered a victory in the 1500m at 4:48.60 at the Oxy Invitational (May 3)
• Broke another 1500 meter personal record in her final race of 2025 at 4:41.46 in runner-up fashion in the third heat at the Franson Last Chance Meet (May 9-10)

SOPHOMORE (2023-24)

• Competed in seven events across six meets
• Placed second in the first heat of the 1500m at 5:06.81 at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Collegiate Track Meet (March 16) 
• Recorded a third-place finish in the 1500m at 4:56.15, setting a personal record at the Triton Invite (April 5-6)

• Competed in three cross country events for the Toreros
• Also competed in four track meets for the Toreros
• Finished 14^th at the Steve Scott Invitational with a mile time of 5:38.07

• Placed second in her conference meet and third in the district meet as a senior
• Helped team place second at the Iowa state championships in 2021
• Also a four-year competitor in golf, competing at state's in three seasons
• Honor Roll student for all four years of high school
• Earned the Seal of Biliteracy

• Daughter of Tom and Anne McVey 
• Has two sisters, Sarah and Hannah
• Her favorite USD memory is going camping with the team every year, highlighted by sleeping without a tent
• Fun fact is that she can do a headstand
