Biography
SOPHOMORE – XC (2024)
- Competed in all six races for the Toreros
- Made her collegiate debut at the Mark Covert Classic (Aug. 31), finishing with USD’s third-best time at 54th overall at 19:20.8 in the 5K race
- Shaved off nearly a minute from her first performance of the season at the Biola Invitational (Sept. 13), finishing the 5K course at 22nd overall in 18:23.4 to help the Toreros place third in the team scoring
- In her second 6K run of 2024, Bronstein completed the Highlander Invite (Oct. 19) at 22:33.2, which was USD’s third-fastest mark
- Also finished third on the team at both the WCC Championships (Nov. 2) and the NCAA West Regionals (Nov. 15) with respective times of 22:45.8 and 22:25.9 to complete her sophomore campaign
SOPHOMORE – TRACK (2025)
- Competed in five races for the Toreros
- Set a personal record to begin the season in the 3000m race at 10:26.15 at the Riverside City College Invite (Feb. 28)
- Of her three starts in the 5000m, Bronstein recorded her best time at the Aztec Invitational (March 21-22) at 17:37.71
- Recorded her only start in the 10,000m race of the season at the Leopard Distance Carnival (April 18) where she placed fourth with a time of 36:55.16, which was the sixth-best mark in program history
FRESHMAN (2023-24 – at UC Irivine)
- Raced at UC Irvine as a freshman before transferring to USD
- Competed at nine meets for the Anteaters
- Finished ninth in the 10000-meter at the Big West Championships
- Also competed in the 5000m at the conference meet
- Ran a 10K personal-best 36:08.71 to place third at the Leopard Distance Carnival
- Won the 5K at the Vince O’Boyle Classic in a personal-best 17:19.79
- Added a 3000m season-best 10:23.15 at the Beach Opener
HIGH SCHOOL
- Won AP Scholar Distinction Award
- Was a Union Tribune Cross Country and Track Scholar Athlete
- All-Coastal League selection in cross country as a senior
- Finished 12th at the league meet and 24th at the CIF San Diego Section Championships
- Placed among the top-five at the 2021 North Coast Conference meet
- Competed at the CIF State Championships as a freshman
- Two-time CIF-SDS finalist in the 3200m with a high finish of fourth in 2021
- Named her team’s MVP as a junior and Most Inspirational as a senior
