Sophomore Pierrick Ysern, ranked 59th in the nation in the 2003 preseason ITA National Rankings, is playing in the qualifying round of the 2003 Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee. USD's doubles team of Nic Beuque and Jeff Das, winners of three matches in the prequalifying, have advanced to the doubles qualifier round.

Ysern is scheduled to face David Kowalski of New Mexico in his first round match. Beuque and Das will take on a doubles team from Miami. The tourney is being held at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
