San Diego sophomore Mirza Koristovic has been playing solid tennis! The Norwegian sophomore, nicknamed the "Oslo Express", had some impressive wins this past fall. He won the consolation draw at The Bulldog Classic in Fresno along the way beating Alex Krohn-Fresno State, Tyler Brown of Cal and Wayne Wong of Cal. At the regional in Carson, California he beat Alex Anselme of UC Santa Barbara, Chris Stewart of Arizona State and eventually lost in the Semifinals of the consolation to Chris Lam of UCLA who is No. 29 in the nation.

Koristovic had only 3 losses this fall and all 3 losses were to nationally ranked players. Coach Hagedorn adds, "Mirza has done an awesome job this fall. He has always had the physical skills and he is putting it all together now!" The Olso Express looks to be a major contributor to the Toreros this coming spring.
